What has OutdoorDuo done for me?

  Add a 'What has ...'

Thank you Outdoor Duo for connecting us back in 2015 ... 3 years on we're now a happily married couple! V&M x

I have met somebody to share with.

This has been a great group for friendships and great outdoor experiences as well as for dating. I now have a life partner, and have recommended OD to others who've joined. My heartfelt thanks to you! xx

Fab site. Did it's job. Thank you

Met a lovely man and moved country. Hope this site does well for others and have recommended it to several people.

Hi and nice to meet you. OD doesn't quite work like a traditional dating site. I mean this in terms of messaging people you may be interested in by viewing their profile. As a site like Pof operates, for example. OD is a little bit different.
My suggestion is. If you find a walk or other activity going on near you that appeals. Sign up and get involved. You will find out what this particular site is all about and maybe never look back .
The amount of members showing as active and involved in invites etc. is definetley something that needs addressing. I have spoken about this other members on quite a few occasions. This would involve the creators of OD's involvement and maybe a new thread

Thanks would also be good to know if a message has been read....not just talking about from a dating point of view btw, just generally.....specially if like me you spend half your life out in the OD sticks.....though for once it’s refreshing to come across a social site which is North not South-centric even though that works against me.,,.

There are a few of us down in the south east here that put invites on Justapussycatreally, I've done a few in London in the past, will put some more up in the new year when time allows, as mentioned, I think its about getting involved or maybe adding an invite yourself if you know of a walk and enjoy others company out and about that way than seeing who's near you

Hi Nifty,

Yup, a site by members for members....geddit.....Actually the very first thing on joining I did was add Love Supreme Festival after chatting to some likely lasses on the Sussex Weald Walk on Sunday. But I’m not sure how that relates to knowing if messages have been read, or when someone last logged in?

Two things
I don't think that there is any way that one can check that a mail message has been read by the intended recipient.
Mail messages are just listed in chronological order in Sent Mail

The last logged in function seems to be ordered by logon id rather than by timestamp since the order always appears to be the same (the same names are frequently at the beginning of the list).
