What has OutdoorDuo done for me?

  Add a 'What has ...'

I have met a very special lady through this site. Thank-you for your help
Barry M

It was a great experience to join OD back in April 2016 and meet some very nice like-minded people; I enjoyed some amazing walks that I would otherwise never discovered.

I met M on the site about 2 years ago and we are now about to move in together. I keep recommending people to OD as it's been fantastic and I've loved being part of the 'family'.Thank you for everything.Vee

Found a partner
Lorna burton

I have found someone and we are getting along very well. I am pleased I heard about your Site from a friend as I consider it to be a good genuine site for finding someone compatible. Many thanks

What a great day.
Matt stormed in with a time of 4.15, great going. I managed 5.30 and not sure how Nigel fared?
The stars of the day were Ingrid and Liz, thanks guys, fantastic support.
See you all next year. Training starts next week.

Hey guys, I've only just seen this blog. Well done you two, Matt and John. And don't worry about Nigel. As planned I waited for him at Exceat and walked the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head with him. It was more enjoyable walking those 8 miles than the full 26, I can assure you.

Yes, well done. M3: You have the right build for a runner, and it is obvious from the way you cruised round the Three Peaks that you are fit. If you try running you might find that you are very good at it.

I never tire of that last 8 miles Ingrid, as good a walk as you could wish to do. Can I book you again for next year?
M3, why not join us next year, it's a stunning route.
Thanks Mark......isn't it about time you did it again yourself?

The temptation to run would be too great John! I had partial knee replacements (medial resurfacing) in 2014 and the surgeon strongly advised me against running on them . I haven't done it since the 1980s (when it was called the Seven Sisters Marathon).

Are you aware of this link, which gives some history of the event?
